Swan Hill District Health Ladies Auxiliary

Swan Hill District Health has a very active Ladies Auxiliary that was formed in 1936.
Money is raised by raffles, open garden day and a fashion parade each year with the biggest fundraiser being the opportunity shop - selling second hand clothing and goods.

The Opp shop commenced in 1939 in various venues until 1958 when the Swan Hill Water Trust made the Water Tower available. The Opp shop has again relocated and is now situated in McCrae St., Swan Hill. Many thousands of dollars have been raised by the sale of very cheap items and clothing.
