Smiles4Miles is a state-wide oral health program for preschools, playgroups and childcare centres. It aims to develop healthy policy and practices. The program focuses on 3 key messages: Eat Well, Drink Well and Clean Well. Currently in Swan Hill there are twelve preschools, playgroups and childcare centres that are involved in the program. By running activities with children throughout the term to support the Smiles4Miles program and by having a food and nutrition policy, early childhood centres and pre-schools can achieve the Smiles4Miles award.
