* Better Blokes is a program designed for local men aged 30-60 years with a goal of improving health and lowering risk of disease. * The Program will run weekly continuously for 6 weeks and focus on healthy lifestyle changes. * A Program Officer and an Physiotherapist will be present each week to assist with making realistic changes. * The benefits of safe and moderate exercise will be discussed, with opportunities to participate in physical activity each week.
Find out about… * Your blood pressure, cholesterol and blood fats, body weight * What is a healthy diet and how to include one in your lifestyle * The common health issues that affect men and what to do about them * How to cope with anger and stress * How to communicate with your partner and others in your life * Strategies to reduce alcohol consumption
