Fees & Policies
This practice is a private billing practice and a small gap fee is charged to patients.
All patients are expected to settle their accounts on the day of consult. We accept cash or credit card for the gap payment or we have Tyro where the whole amount is paid and the Medicare benefit immediately deposited back to the patient account.
Our Doctors are happy to bulk bill Pensioners, Disability Pensioners, children and Health Care Card Holders, and patients at the discretion of each individual Doctor.
If you are unable to attend a scheduled appointment, please contact us to cancel or change your appointment time. A fee will be charged for failure to attend or cancellation with less than 2 hours’ notice. (This fee is not Medicare rebatable).
Skin Clinic Fees
Skin cancer screening includes a comprehensive skin cancer and general medical history and thorough full body examination for skin lesions.
Medicare will pay a rebate towards consultations and procedures, but not specialized skin lesion/melanoma screening photographs.Some private health insurers will cover the cost of this photography.
- All pensioners, Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) recipients and Health Care Card holders are bulk billed.
- Standard consultation fee is $62
- Long consultation fee is $117
- Antenatal consultation fee is $76
Fees for procedures vary depending on the procedure - please ask staff for an approximate cost.
Medicals cannot be bulk billed.
The fees list is displayed in the reception area or ask the Receptionist at the time of making your appointment. Special arrangements will be considered in cased of financial hardship: however, this must be discussed with the GP during your consultation.
They are paid by the patient at the time of consultation unless a valid current claim number can be provided.
