Visiting Hours

Visiting Hours have been extended from 2 pm to 4 pm. Conditions will still apply – read above fact sheets.

Visiting hours have been extended across the health service, excluding the Emergency Department.

This includes our aged care facilities Jacaranda Lodge and Logan Lodge, to allow for a total two hour visitation period, 2pm-4pm, 7 days a week.

Restrictions remain on visitors to the maternity ward, with only the patient’s partner or support person able to visit.

At this stage our Emergency Department will remain visitor free.

We know reduced visiting hours have been tough for those with loved ones in care, but thank the community for their cooperation with these measures.

Limits on the number of visitors remain (2 visitors per person per day), as does the requirement for visitors to aged care facilities to be at least 16 years of age and have a current flu vaccination.

  • If End of Life Care Pathway is in place, please discuss visiting hours with Nurse in Charge.

* Please note that due to COVID19 visitors can only enter via the main entrance is Splatt St and will be asked a few quick questions and registered as a part of the screening process.
