With some very exciting projects and developments in the works, our donation platform provides the opportunity for contribution from community members at any level and can be pinpointed for specific projects, purchasing of equipment or made as a general donation to our broader health care services. MRI Scanner: Swan Hill District Health is raising funds for an MRI Scanner, to provide quicker access to diagnostic tests and reduce unnecessary patient travel, stress and inconvenience. MRIs are vital in diagnosing and monitoring a wide variety of health conditions. Hundreds of patients in our region travel for an MRI scan each year, impacting on commitments such as work and family during an already difficult time.
Accommodation Project: As workforce shortages have increased, so too has the demand for suitable accommodation to meet short-term accommodation needs for casual employees to fill roster gaps. To this end, SHDH Board has endorsed an ambitious accommodation strategy focused on the development of a number of accommodation options to meet the future needs of SHDH.
